Sophie, Purpose-led Changemaker and Marketing Alchemist
Sophie Horwood is an ex-corporate go-getter turned Founder and Managing Director of Thrive Communications.
Affectionately referred to as The Marketing Alchemist by her clients, she converts untapped business potential into commercially compelling, magnetic brands.
After more than 15 years in senior corporate marketing leadership roles across superannuation, not-for-profit, wellbeing and health sectors, Sophie felt a deeper calling to build something more intentional…a purpose-driven agency where creativity, compassion and commercial performance coexist.
Today, she partners with ambitious organisations to elevate their brands and unlock meaningful growth. With a Master of Marketing, Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) accreditation, eight industry awards and board-level experience, Sophie brings both strategic rigour and human-centred values to every engagement.

Shanna is a graphic and website designer, and a brand true visionary.
With more than a decade of experience, she has partnered with over 100 brands to elevate their visual identity, deepen engagement and bring their vision to life with clarity and impact.
Design is not just what she does, it’s how she thinks. Where others see colours and fonts, Shanna sees strategy and story. She uncovers the narrative behind each brand and translates it into design that is intentional, distinctive and unmistakably authentic.
With a Degree in Design and experience spanning almost every industry imaginable, Shanna brings both creative intuition and strategic precision to every brief.
